I know somewhere in the mid 40"s the pump pressure
was jumped from 600 to an amazing 800 from a belly
pump. I"m just short on remembering when. I"m
wanting to swap one on my SM and I have another
that came from a 47 M that has sense been turned
into a couple of Toyotas.

47 probably has the higher setting. Complete unit won't work in a SM though. You can remove the plate and pump from the 47 reservoir housing and install it in the SM reservoir housing.
47 housing won't clear a 12 inch clutch.

If he has the older SM, they had a belly pump.

Understood him to have a belly pump unit. What I was referring to is the change in liftall housings starting on late M tractors and used on SM tractors for 12 inch clutch verses 11 inch clutches. Ones for 11 inch don't have the part of the housing with marks in the picture sloped off as much there. More of a step.
If putting a original 47 liftall reservoir in with a 12 inch clutch the housing doesn't clear.

I have no idea..It was that way when I bought the tractor.I was surprised as much as anyone when it was that much!
