Just picked up a 2000 loader for my 350

A while back I posted that a neighbor had a 2000 loader that he would sell and on Saturday we pulled it off the 460 it was on and I"ve got it setting on a hay rack. The bucket is going to a job shop today for major work but other than that it is in decent shape. Obviously the front mounts will need to be different for my 350. Before I get to work fabricating the brackets I figured I"d just check here to see if anyone had a pair of front brackets they would be interested in getting rid of. Based on information I received here before the brackets were the same from the H through the 350.

If you have a pair you"d be willing to sell please drop me a note at nafziger (at) mtelco (dot) net and we can work something out.

Thanks

I don"t remember for sure but if I remember right the same brackets will work.

All you need is spacers where the front of the loader frame bolts unto the side rails beside the engine.

This was all we had to do with a Freeman loader. I still have the spacers from the freeman.

If the IH loader mounts on the front bolster of the tractor you may have to do something. Because the front bolsters are different.

But we did have the Freeman on the 460 and the 350 without torching and welding.

You don't need to fabricate anything.

Just put 1" of spacers underneath the 460 bracket on each side, and you'll be good to go.

I was under the impression too that the frame was
the same just with a narrower spacing but that isn"t
the case. None of the holes line up between the 460
brackets and the 350 frame. There isn"t enough
material to add new holes to the brackets without
running into existing holes and I don"t want to
drill the tractor frame. The 460 brackets actually
pick up the tapped holes in the front casting, not
the through holes in the frame rails.
