TD6 NO START ON DIESEL SIDE

Working on a early td6 will run on gas but when switched
over engine dies bled system at water trap and filter but no
fuel at injectors any ideas? Has BOSCH FUEL SYSTEM.thanks

Jim, I had one little drop of fuel slime in the pump and after i cleaned it I got fuel to injectors. oldiron29
 
There is also a fuel screen on the back of the pump where the fuel line goes into the pump, it looks like a hex shaft about two inches long with a large hex plug screwed into the end of it. You might check that to see if it's clean and to make sure you've got fuel at least to there. Good Luck!
 
Jim I tried bleeding it at the injectors...only got a few air bubbles and a little mist of fuel at the last 2 injectors. Nothing at the front 2, I have never dealt with these bosch pumps before so its a new experience.jim.
 
Loosen the lines at the 2 injectors that do not show fuel. Run it on gas and have the diesel speed control about 1/2 open. Switch it over to diesel multiple times to rid the lines of air. Retuen it to gas operation as the engine gets near stopped to avoid having to use the starter motor each time. Jim
 
In a Bosch pump if you have fuel at some injectors but not at others you may have stuck plungers, especially if it has sat for a while. Open the cover on the pump and see if they are all going up and down.
