farmall a upper trans gear removal

I have to replace my 3-4 gear in my 45 a. It looks like the shaft has to come out the back but I cant figure how to remove the pto.I have removed the bolts , but something is still holding it. I have also removed the pin from the reverse gear. The bng also has to come off the front. Do I just drive the shaft thru the bng? An exploded view of the pto might help. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rich

You need to remove the tranny from the bell housing as the yoke and bearing in the front will not let the shaft be removed so remove the finals and diff housing so the tranny is separated from everything
