1466 turbo

The turbo on my 1466 has failed. Looking at replacements. Ebay has several but I"m concerned that they may be cheap aftermarket ones. Any thoughts as to brand or supplier that won"t take me to the cleaners?
 
Stay away from Ebay on something like that.I,ve had good with Abilene Machine.Just for giggles,check out a local 'pump shop' or similar.You may be surprised.
 
Thanks for the replies. I"ve bought tons of parts off of ebay for a variety of machine but they"ve always been OEM parts. The turbos I"ve seen all state "aftermarket" which is the cause of my concern.

So yeah....I"ll check out All State Ag and Abilene. I"ve done business with them in the past (recently in fact) and have always been pleased.
 
Don"t think twice buy a Schwitzer 3LM 466 which is a direct replacement for the TO 4 Air Research.Maybe a little more than TO4 but worth it.
 
Go over to the Red Power web site and ask price. I think someone there runs a turbo business or can get good prices from where he works.
