I could never figure why H's go so cheap. OK, no live PTO, no wonderful hydraulics, but stick a home-made rear carrier on there, you got the handiest little chore tractor, hauling trash, movng stuff, pulling logs, hauling fire wood, moving trailers.... for $900 it's a buy.

They are handy little tractors, simple and bulletproof. But there were a bazillion made, lots(mine included) are still in use.So they are really not very 'collectable' or rare. The price is very fair. Its yours?Does it run?Set out in front with a for sale sign,it WILL sell.

Sorry to say but tires are more important then the tractor. I just bought an H last week for $600 running good with tires that hold air. I don't know what scrap price is. But there is a lot of H out there.

With scrap at around $200/ton you"ve got a 8,000 + lb H? I see you say not far from scrap. Even at $300/ton an H which probably only weighs around 4,500 to 4,000 lb would fetch $600.

Wow...subtle. Your first problem is no picture on the ad. No one bothers with ads without pictures. Second, you don't mention the tires. How bad are the tires? You knock $300 off that price and I will bring my trailer up early next week and get her. Nothing less would inspire me to drive 100 miles for a tractor I do not need and that will cost me at least $2K to make reliable and somewhat presentable.
