Wheel setting for H for plowing

I moved the R Rear wheel in for mowing. I need to set it back out for plowing. With the rear right wheel dished in, How far away from the axle should it be set.
 
It depends on your plow. The right rear wheel and right furrow wheel should be exactly aligned with the center pull of the plow being aligned with the center of the tractor. Ideally the left rear wheel will be spaced the same as the right so the tractor will pull the plow center straight.
 
My dad always sets his at 24 inches from center of drawbar to the inside of right tire. He has the same plow, only on rubber. Not sure if steel is same? I would think it should be close anyway. His pulls nice and does a good job at that setting. Hope this helps somewhat.
 
Ok, after reading some of that... Line of draft on the plow is midway between the beams. That's roughly the middle of the left bottom on a 2-bottom plow, 7" on a 14" bottom.

7" from the left bottom + 14" from the right bottom + 7" to the center of the open furrow where the furrow wheel should run.

By my calculations the wheel should be set about 28" from the center of the tractor to the center of the tire. That will put the furrow wheel on the tractor dead center in the furrow and give you a full width of cut with the plow, if I'm not mistaken.

It can be a couple inches one way or the other without causing too much distress.
 
I had had the plow set to use it with my granddads 1934 CC Case. I had to set the R.R wheel 34in from the center of the drawbar. I measured it from the center of the drawbar the plow to the inside of the Furrow wheel.
 
It is much easier to move the drawbar over to line up the right rear tire and the furrow wheel. It works fine.

Well, I had to move it out some anyhow, so I just moved it to where it was when I bought it, as I plowed with it a couple of years before I moved it in to mow with it.
 
Moving the drawbar over makes a plow pull hard and crooked. Time and time again at our plowdays i tell people this and they dont believe me!
