Super A tire size

I have 9.5 x 24's on my Super A and I want to replace with a larger size. One of the rims is in rough shape and needs replacing anyway. I like the look of larger tires and would like your opinions on what size will fit. I won't be using the tractor for any work except pulling a small trailer I have other tractors for doing my work so I'm not concerned with power loss. My thought was to go with 12.4's on a 10" rim what do you think?

I have 11.2x24s on one, and 12.4x24s on one. They both work fine for me. I use them mostly for cultivating and gardening.

Normal size would be 11.2. I have two 140s. One has the
11.2, the other has the 12.4, but it also has 16 inch tires on the
front which helps level the tractor up for the bigger rear tires. If
you ever want a belly mower, the 12.4 tires will cause an
interference problem.

The gears above 1st are a little fast for mowing if you ever want to do it. I have 11.2's on my Super A, but since I don't need traction your 9.5's are probably better. If you are pulling a plow, disk, etc, the wider tire will give more traction. To me 12.4's are too big. I have 11.2's on my C too. Looks aren't everything.

12.4's look tough, real tough. Just about every 140 I have ever seen used strictly for cultivating and side-dressing tobacco in the olden days.

I use 11.2 24 on my Super A, and that's what I recomend.

I made the mistake of getting a 11.2 24 Firestone.

Firestone is the best looking, best tread, tire and is an 8- ply.
With the price I paid for 1 Firestone + mounting I could have gotten 2 off-brand foreign made tires
It's the most expensive, but man does it have curb appeal. They say made in USA on them, so. I Feel good about it, but maybe Titan is a good tire.

If USA is important stay away from off-brands.

Here's some pics of a new 11.2 x24 tire. It's had the starter rebuilt and a new hydraulic pump since these photos were taking. She's still a work in progress.

Thanks for all of you guys responses I think the 11.2's are the way to go. I like the look of the Firestones and the tractor is looking great. The super A I have was bought this fall and seems to be in really good shape. It has the two way plow and it looks like it has hardly been used. It took me awhile to figure out how to operate the plow levers but don't plan on using it.
