Farmall H front hub seals(48539DA)

Hey guys, a "W" series guy in need of some help. I going thru my Dad's new to him Farmall H. Figured the front wheel bearings would like some TLC. Took apart, it was in need of new grease. One side the seal was broken right in half. Not sure how a seal can break right in half. Anyways, clean the spindles up, hubs, bearings. Ordered front seals from local IH dealer. I got part number 48539DA from them. It seems like this seal will drive onto the spindle, then the hub goes over it. It seems abit loose, is that the way its suppose to be? Its a lot different front end then a good old W series tractor that I'm used to. Thanks for any help, Scott.

Should drive snug on spindle. Locktite would take care of it if not sloppy loose. Seal part should also be snug in hub. Actually, there is a sleeve in the hub that can be easily replaced as you probably noticed already.

I will have to look for sleeve in the hub, didn't see that. Thanks. The seal is tight to the spindle, just seems loose to the hub. Maybe the sleeve is missing in the hub or something.
