Just got off the phone with the gentleman from Saginaw County Tractors. He informed me that he is making a limited amount of hitches and will probably be out around January. Needless to say I just put my order in and it should be here Wednesday so if your looking to buy one DON"T WAIT!! It didn"t sound like they are going to be around in the spring! As a side note, he sounded like a very nice man and very professional, it doesn"t surprise me in the least that he has been in business making these for 20 years!

Even if Saginaw ceases production, there are other MFGers (Worksaver,other...)that will take up the slack.

sad to hear that. i bought a saginaw hitch for my m a few years back, and stopped there to pick it up. great people to do business with, and they build a quality product.

Yes he is a great fellow to deal with .He sold me some parts for mine a few months back.(Sway bar replacement pins and dual cat 1 and 2 lift arm ball sockets)

So you say he is going to quit making 3 point hitches?????

I ordered mine today, here Thursday or Friday. $775 + $125 shipping. I told him he might be getting more business because of this forum. So far he has received $1550. For those who don't know, he apparently is emphasizing the ROPS he sells and feels he can't do both.

Yes, but Saginaw is the best one, maybe I should have said was the best one. Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch sells Cross, I believe. If I need another one that is the one I will get. If so it may be for my C, Worksaver works from the rockshaft.

I had mine shipped to the local CaseIH dealer in town and saved myself $50. I looked into those ROPS, they defiantly look stout, may have to get one for the 1466! Hopefully more hear about this and get their orders in before they are all gone.

I bought one for my H. I think it is better than most oem hitches. Great design and build.
When I bought mine, I think he had one employee. Truly a small biz.

I was out that way just over a month ago and had made arrangements to pick one up and he was a great guy to deal with. The hitch looks great and I'm eager to get it on the Super H it's destined for. It'll certainly be a shame if he stops making them. Sam

CaseIH dealer is where I have the freight items shipped -- they don't seem to mind, but I have spent a lot of money there.
