C 153 out of 504 into super "C" guestions

I was told this would work with some minor fitment issues.

Anyone know for sure?

I did a c135 into a super C and it worked like you said with a few small problems. If you go ahead with it send me an email and I can tell you more. Thanks Erik..

The Bell housing pattern might be different so check that first and look and see if there is a bushing in the crank for the drive shaft.

I think the 504 bellhousing is different. You need a power unit from a combine. The crank needs drilled for the pilot bearing,and I think you have to cut some off the input shaft. Also you will need to deal with the radiator hook up.

farmallstrong is correct on all this
you can put a pilot bearing in your flywheel thats why you cut off the input shaft. that way you dont have to take out your crankshaft.

Sorry it was a 135 engine he put in a Super C. YouTube 1954 Farmall Super C dyno. He got 42 hp out of it.
