Farmall Cub ignition parts

Does anyone know if there's a place locally to get replacement ignition parts in the Elk River, MN area? Mainly ignition tune up kits. Thanks, Brett
 
Your local auto parts store should have them like Blue Streak ignition. Borg Warner (BWD) should have them. Call 1-800-566-8334 to see if they available in your area. I was told they're sold by Advanced Auto Parts in MN. Hal
 
Be sure to save your old condenser and make sure your new stuff comes from NAPA or another dealer that doesent have import stuff you want Blue Streak or Ekclend as the import stuff is junk.

FYI, BWD is NOT Borg-Warner. The ignition parts division was sold/spun off a LONG time ago, and changed hands a time or two after that.

BWD and Blue Streak are brands of SMP, FKA "Standard Motor Products", and, even though they use a different numbering system and color scheme on the boxes, they are the same parts from the same parent company.

Worst case, they have ignition tuneup kits on the rack at Tractor Supply. Here's yours:

The IH ignition parts are the same for all the 4-cylinder tractors from the Cub/A/B/C/H/M up through the 450 and the 140.
 
NOT if there"s a mag involved. He did not state if he had a mag or a distributor.

Then, of course, there"s always a chance someone could have put a Delco or other distributor on it, rather than the "one fits all" (well ALMOST all) IH distributor.
