C IH 585 brake issues

I hope this is the right forum but my friend has a C IH <brake 585 tractor with brake issues, the right one goes all the way down, no brake and no resistance, the left one works like it supposed too but when you push them together they both go down, no brake, no resistance,, any one have issues like this?

Its a 585 CIH, the right one goes all the way down, nobrake no resistance, the left works like it should but when you press on both, they both go all the way down no brake and no resistance, help!

Lots of this repair in the archives here ...basically you need to replace the o-rings in the right side axle housing

Hi, quick fix is to bleed the right brake. Procedure is in owners manual also in archives for 454,574,674,684,484 and many other models have same brakes. The procedure can also be found in the archives. Check for leaking right brake cylinder under battery box and brake line leak that runs from brake cyl under cover over top of trans to under seat where it goes into top of diff by right rear axle. Probable cause as the other poster said leaking wheel cylinder O-rings.

Reason there are no brakes when both are pressed is there is an equalizer circuit between left and right brake all pressure will go to bad brake.
