What disk would work best?

I'm looking for a disk but not sure what I
should be looking for. I have a stock 986.
What disk would be best with this tractor.
I'm open to any make. Thanks for your
help.

Tell us these things:
Is it used in light soil (loam or sandy)?
Is it going to be expected to cut deep in sod?
is it primary tillage, or after moldboard?
What is the condition of the tractor, Duals, weights, (front rear and liquid) Wide front or narrow?
Acres to work?
Jim

I have a lot of river bottom soil with some clay. I would say 85% is flat with slight grade and the rest has about a 30% grade. I have liquid in the rear drive tires and run about 13 pounds in my duals. no front weights and wide front.I plan on using it to disk manure in before working the ground with a digger. I would say 90% of the time I'll be disking ground that has been chisel plowed the fall before. I have 70 tillable but would only work around 45 each spring.

SD Pete has given a great answer. Others in the same weight category would work as well. Be sure the bearings have been cared for and are not loose. Jim
