Anybody know where I can buy a good used or new rim for my 340 out west! I'm west if Albuqueruqe or even around Phoenix somewhere. I've priced new ones and they're not bad, 225.00 to 295.00 but the freight is high

2 bad your so far away I have not one but 2 rims that I took off a 340 and switched it to 38 inch rims both if I did not know better look to be almost new other then sitting out side for a few years

What hubs did you use on your 340, that is exactly what I'm working on

The rear end on a 340 is exactly the same as a 460, externally. 38" hubs off a 300, 350, or 460 should fit.

IIRC, though, the 460 had two different axle sizes. Early ones were same as 300/350, late ones were bigger.

The 340 I have looks a whole lot like that one other then some of the fancy sheet metal is missing
