1586 - best place for monitor?

Been out all morning cleaning the "new to me" 1586 cab. Looks almost like new. Hauled this thing 100 miles home a few weeks back, drove it around a bunch on the hayfield trying to find out how/when/where it is going to come around and bite me on the a$$ but so far this is a great tractor. I am getting ready to mount the monitor for a Cyclo 800 in the cab. I was thinking to the right of the dash but there is no obvious place to run the wiring out of the cab. There is a (factory) hole in the floor on the left side and it looks like there is an opening below the dash behind a panel. Kinda scratchin my head as to where to best put the monitor and how best to run the cable. Hoping someone with experience can give me a little help. Appreciate it!

There is a "factory hole" on the RH console near the side quarter window. It is a flat panel with a single bolt in it. IH used this as the access port for the chopper control box wires. The planter monitor uses the same exit for its cables.

Ken, one of us is misunderstanding the other. The panel near the right quarter window is where IH says to mount the automatic row marker control box. The monitor is too large to fit there and is designated to mount on one side of dash or the other if I understand the manual correctly. I'm just not real sure how I get the cable out of the cab when I put it there.

The row marker controller is another issue since mine has no mounting bracket. I have to assume the bracket would resemble the removable plate and somehow leave room to route the wires, which exit the control box on the SIDE, down thru the factory hole you mentioned. Still plugging away at this as I have to manufacture my own mounting hardware.

There was factory mount that clamped around the square tubing that goes between the dash and rh post. I had one on mine. Its made in 2 halves and bolts tight around the tube. Then just make a bracket to hange marker switch off the monitere bracket. I then made a new step that hinges up in the door and cut a notch in it to run monitor wires.

Toy Guy has it right, and the part number for the bracket is 90905C2. secure the cables with zip ties under the cab to keep them out of harm. Marker switch mounted to your right near the side window (for ease of reach)
