I'm restoring a MV and damaged a rim while loading the tractor .have original rim that can probably be fixed but would like one with no damage. If anyone has a MV and could part with a rim please call me or if anybody has any ideas please contact me ASAP.815-441-7468. Thank to all. Rim is 20in Please no emails

The rims are a standard shape, so you should be able to go to a local rim supplier, buy a blank 20" rim, and transfer the mounting lugs over to it, if there are any.

If it mounts with clamps, even better. Then a new rim will work with no modifications.

Wouldn't give up so easy. I slammed into a hidden tree stump, blew up a front tire and bent the rim. Thought it was hopeless, but what the heck, got nothing to lose. Hammers, pry bars, blocks of wood, and some spray paint, I beat the heck out of it, got her back is shape and fixed, hasn't leaked a bit of air in 3 years. Looks same as the other.

There are places that specialize in rim repair and straightening. You'd be amazed what some of them can do. Check the Yellow Pages of the nearest cities of any size. I know there is a guy in Wichita, KS that does them... have been in his shop and there were some pretty badly damaged wheels he had to work on. Son-in-law took one to a shop in KC, but they only wanted to do the easy ones.

Thanks for the replys.mite have 1located if the guy will part with it. If not I"m goin to attack it with my hammer and some heat. See what happens
