Hi, can anyone tell me what the original measurements for the crank journals in the d246 engine were? I need to order an overhaul kit for this engine and I need to know if the crank has ever been turned so I can order the proper bearings. I plan to order the engine manual at the same time but need this measurement ASAP. Both rod and main journals. Thanks to anyone who can look this up for me!

Crank pin, diameter - inches . . . . . . . 2.5185 - 2.5193
Main journal diameter - inches . . . . . . 3.1484 - 3.1492

They should be stamped on the back side with the STD for standard or the amount of under size like 0.010 for 10 under. And yes it would be under size not over size. Over size would be in the sleeves.

There was an IH and a part number stamped on the bearings, no STD or amount undersize... I used Owens specs, determined for sure they were standard as they are within his spec range and have already ordered the kit.
