narrow front H - M

Is the narrow front pedestal on a H and M the same? Bolt right up on either?

No.M has 1/2" more space between the holes.The
spindles are also bigger.The whole thing is a
bigger,heavier unit.

Matt, I don"t want to interject in a business deal, but since you"re in Springfield, did you ever go to Spring River Salvage outside Verona? Last time I was there he had a whole row of H"s, in various conditions. Go north out of Verona, turn at Welter"s M-M sign, go past Welter"s, go down the hill, turn right, go along the creek... turn left on the bridge, keep on and you"re there.
