This is just FYI - A month or two ago I had adjustment problem with my clutch, the pedal rod hit the transmission case, nothing I did fixed it. Removed and reinstalled everything several times, compared my components to dealers, mine were fine. LOng story shirt, apparently it was the pressure plate finger adjustment; I finally adjusted fingers to 3/16" away from the throwout bearing, then re-adjusted the pedal to 1 1/2" away from transmission. Runs great, apparently everything is fixed.

There are enough variables in the geometry to make remote advice difficult to do. Thanks for telling us what happened to make it right. Jim
