Gas tank Farmall H

I have what appears to be a baffle loose in my gas tank. It vibrates when motor is running. Very irritating. What can I do about it. Can't seem to fish it out with a wire. Thanks

There is a baffle in the tank. If it is loose, it will possibly wear a hole in the tank. If you can bend it such that it no longer vibrates against the internal surfaces, that would probably be the easiest. If it is way loose, removing it is the next solution, but the fuel would slosh. The best option is to get a different tank, there are many H tanks in existance with no tractor attached. Jim

I have one in SD been cleaned, blasted and epoxy primered. No dents at all. $80.
