560 hydraulic pump not working

Hey there, I have a farmall 560 diesel and I put a new hydraulic pump in it and my problem is that it pumps a little fluid every once in a while, i have been told it is sucking air where could it be sucking air from?

How did you handle the suction tube. Did you put in a new tube with seal or reuse the old one. That is the most likely place you have a problem. That seal has to be installed to the correct distance when installed in the pump to seal in the recess in the tractor housing.

The tube with new seal is CNH part 395334R91, seal itself was never furnished separately, it will usually not be reusable because it looses its flexibility or ability to seal enough. This should come with the instruction for position of seal, but they are usually set at correct dimension from CNH. This tube flows oil from the filter to the other side into the pump suction hole.
