Purpose Piece Super C Fast Hitch

A piece of the fast hitch was severed when I got the
tractor. I am planning on using the FH so I decided
to repair. I do not understand the purpose for the
curved portion that the FH arm attachs to. It has
been previously welded and I understand why it broke
as you can see. Does anyone (1) know what the
purpose is for the curved half circle portion and
(2) is there undo torque on that arm at times?

Thats where the pin for the front of the fast hitch swinging drawbar goes through. There shouldn`t be any real bad stresses on that piece as the force is to the back against the wishbone. Something out of the ordinary must have occured. Should work just fine that way.

The loop you are referring to is where the forward part of a swinging drawbar goes in.

So this swinging draw bar goes in front of the fast hitch? Any
idea where I can see a pic of the swing draw bar and what is
was used for? Thanks for the reply. I really like this super c,
perfect size for us.

Kind of looks like this except the swinging drawbar slides over your fast hitch drawbar . I have one on my 200 if you need a picture

Ok, I have seen those. Thanks. I guess tgey just swing for
convience when attaching something
