I am working on an 806 diesel for a friend. I had to replace the multipurpose valve gaskets on the left side of the bell housing. while doing so I also replaced all the O rings and such. all the spool valves look good. I put it all back together and had a great deal of problems getting the tractor to steer and would not go in gear. Now she steers just fine but won't go forward or backwards. it will rock either direction when you put it in gear but she just won't move. Any help would be great. The man I am working on this for has stage four in operable cancer and wants to drive it before he dies.
 
What is the red light showing you. It should go on with key on and engine not running. It should be out at all other times except when you put clutch in to shift gears. Here are some of your possible problems. That little plastic valve in lower right corner of clutch housing got left out, installed gasket for tractors without TA inside or left out an o-ring inside. Might even have installed regulator valve backwards. You need to look at a good layout of the valve to get all parts installed correctly.
