Morning I am thinking about selling my Supre W-4.You don't see them up for sale very often. It is a 1953 and is restored. It is very nice. Has anyone seen any of these sell or maybe have an idea what they are worth? I am from central Il. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks

Define "restored."

Some people's idea of restored is to knock the bigger chunks of rust and crud off and slather on some red paint, usually with a rattle can.

Truly restored is a tractor that has been completely taken down, all new bearings, seals and gaskets, fully overhauled engine, new tires, new seat, complete rust removal, body work, good paint, etc. etc. So much work and parts that you'll never get your money back.

Prices could range from $500 for a rattle-can restoration with a smoking engine and rotten tires to $4000 or so for a tractor that's been completely worked through from end to end.

Those are the prices you can expect typical people to OFFER you for the tractor. You can ask however much you want (i.e. $6000) and hope some fool comes along and pays you that much.

Crazy, the wording was similar and everything. Did you find the post?

post a pic. as the word "restored" is a big can of worms. in most cases a "totally original" tractor is worth the most to any serious collector. there is only aprox. little over 3000 of these units built.
