We have a hydraulic fluid leak under the
tractor. My BIL seemsTo think it"s a bad seal
or gasket and the tractor needs to be split to
replace the seal or gasket. It"s a constant drip
back by the transmission housing and the
loader/hitch looses pressure after a while.
Any idea"s as to what the problem is? Do I
need to have the tractor split and if so is it
smart to have the clutch replaced since its
weak? Thanks for the help, Anthony

There's no way to know from your description. "It's leaking from somewhere underneath." There's hundreds of places it could be leaking from that may or may not have anything to do with the problem.

Alright i was just wondering if there was a seal or gasket in
that area that is a common leak / fix... I'll get under there
and get a better look. Sorry for being to vauge...

Well if the leak is at the bell housing then you IDPTO shaft seals are leaking and what usually causes that is that the input shaft for the pto is getting wore along with the pressure plate . Now if the leak is at the split between the torque tube and the rearend then you may have some bigger problems and this is where your dropping prime on the hyd. system mainly the MCV system where you have no steering , brakes and no T/A function . Picture my boy i need pictures to see what is going on cause i ain't maken a service call .

lol will do tractor vet, having surgery tomorrow but i'll be back on my feet in a week or so and i'll be picking your brain. Wish you could make a service call though!! thanks for the help my friend ~Anthony
