656 international 2 point hitch

I am hopeful to find 2pt to 3 pt adapters for this
tractor. I know you can still buy the solid arms but
i am looking for the older ones that had some
horizontal or in and out adjustment for width. This
was accomplished by changing bolt location to
different hole. I'm sure they are no longer manf
but thought I might find some somewhere. Thanks

I use to make some of them that were adjustable for Cat 1 and Cat 2 . They were not had to make as i made up a jig to get all the pieces tacked into the correct location then i would weld them up . The hard part was coming up with the stock for the points as it is NOT a standard size bar stock and i had to order it in in 40 foot lenghts and they would cut that down for me to haul. the rest is just made out of 1/2 x4 bar stock and schedule 80 1/2 in tubing and two grade 8 bolt for each point . The ones i made up were strong enough that you could pull a 5 bottom plow with . I am still usen the last set i made over ten years ago.

www.farmequipment24-7.com show straight prongs and curved for 656. Straight would give you Cat 1 and Curved Cat 2, I assume ?

Oh, once on their site. Go to Farmall Parts, then 3 pt parts, and then Hitch kits and Conversion tongs.

Well mine had reg. balls of the Cat 2 size and for cat one you just used the 2 to 1 bushing and ya undid one bolt on each and swung it in and put the bolt back in the second hole . maybe i should start making them again . but i am sure with the price of Good steel as i did now use AW36 steel in them .
