Adjusting trips on 720 plow/14 deep ripper

We have a case/ih deep ripper and I would like to know how to adjust the trip mechanism so it doesn't trip so easily. It is the same mechanism I have seen on some 710/720 plows. There is no auto spring reset so we have to stop and let it fall back into place. The guy we bought the deep ripper from said he had it set very light since he wasn't running it very deep. We are running much deeper and would like to adjust it if we can. Any kind of picture or reference would be appreciated.

if it is the toggle trip all you have to do is remove some shims

Since I am down to one short and one long shim, it appears I have to add shims. I guess it's a trip to parts counter tomorrow.
