IH model C Value?

My neighbor has his dad's IH C and wants to sell it. It has been sitting in a shed for about 10 years. It was running when put up but has a cracked hydraulic unit. It has good tires. What would a reasonable price be. PK

$700?? Last C I had ran good with decent tires, paint, and sheet metal. Got $1,000 for it.

Get it put back together and you could get more. That would be a $500 tractor around if if it ran. Get it put together and fix the hydro $1000. Nice super A just sold for $900 and a Super C for $1200. A needed nothing and the C needed a tune up.

Around Houston you can't hardly give them away. Everybody wants
the Super A's and will settle for a Super C. Last C I had ran good,
mechanically sound good tires. I started at $1500 and about 1 year
later after repeatedly dropping price it sold for $800.

Your tractor around here would be about a $300 tractor in it's
current shape. It will bring more parting out the popular stuff and
scrapping the rest.
