I need help in finding #4 fuel line for my 756 Custom German diesel with spin on fuel filters. Can anyone help me?
 
270-247-2219 . Steve Smiths in Mayfield KY. He ships nation wide. He sells new ,used, and after market IH parts. Good chance he will have one. Ask for Steve if you call. I know he had some German diesels out in the salvage yard not long ago.
 
Thanks Larry, I'll give him a call. I would think someone would be making after market lines?
Whats a person do if you can't fine one? Can you change pumps?
 
What's wrong with the old one?Cracked?Worn through?I wore through a line on my 706(310) 15+ years ago.I simply brazed it shut.Still running.There is a newer pump that will fit,it takes different lines,but you can bend them to fit.Why would you replace the pump when only a line is bad?Those German Bosch pumps are EXPENCIVE!
 
I was also told you can not bend lines to fit? I found one line that was close to what I need but never bought it because one person said, don't try bending lines.
 
They sell an inexpensive tubing bender at most auto parts store. Just why couldn't you bend it? All you have to be sure of is that there are no kinks.
