Hi,
Mowing along and my bush hog stops running. The PTO shaft has stopped spinning, but the clutch was still engaged. Tried disengaging, engaging it, but no luck. Removed the bush hog and shut it down.
- the PTO shaft still has about 1/4" of play.
- disengaged, it turns by hand with some resistance.
- engaged you can turn it freely.
- neither way feels like it used to when you were attaching an implement.
- with the motor running, you can hear a change in the gearbox sound when you engage the lever.
- clutch replaced about 3 years ago, maybe 100 hours on it.
Where do I start?
