w4 carburetor

mechanic took carb off and monkeyed with it. when he left he said, it will get better. now it has no throttle adjustment, and runs wide open, carb will not adjust. help! when he left, tractor ran like a dragster with a racing cam erratic idle, but good performance. does okay under load Thannks, Hal

Do NOT run that W4 that way. FIND another mechanic. Hopefully, you can find a mechanic who knows how to align the governor shaft with the throttle shaft.

Needs an ignition system tune up.
Timing is off.
Fuel mixture is off.
Carburetor is not installed correctly.
