Farmall H Decal Question

Hello,
Just had a question regarding Farmall H decals for the side of the hood. I have always thought that 1939-1943 models only said McCormick Deering without the new IH Logo on the side then late 1943 and 1944 models said McCormick Deering but had the IH logo next to it then for 1945 and later had just McCormick with the IH logo. Just trying to get some accurate insight on this. Thank you
 
I'd like to learn more about this too. i don't think the Deering name went away all at once. And later the McCormick name did not seem to disappear at midnight on a prescribed day either.
 
This confuses me also. we had a decal shop make some using a 1944 M hood that had never been repainted for a pattern. I have a couple extra sets if anyone is in need.
