504 Throttle linkage?

Does anyone have a schematic or a picture of a complete 504 throttle linkage from the dash to the carburetor? How it's supposed to look and operate? Engine on mine wants to run away when the throttle is opened up, suspecting a governor problem but the book doesn't have anything on the throttle linkage and it seems like the best place to start before sticking my neck out taking the governor apart.

P.P.S I should add this is an IH 504 Utility
 
I have a Farmall 504, don"t know if it"s the same. Not much to the linkage though.

On the right side a rod runs from the lever to the governor.

Then on the left side a clevis and rod connects from the governor to the carburetor. I don"t see any springs or connections, just the two rods and one adjustment.
