Does any company sell original look gauges for a 460? I've seen many different ones and all have a pointed indicator needle instead of the flat top needle. I want to keep as close to origanal as possible but may not be able to. Thanks.

"Huskers86"; I purchased gauges to replace in a Farmall 340 and got 'em at an IH dealership; albeit an old dealership. I suggest you contact Carter and Gruenewald otta Wisc. Also Marc at the parts desk at St. Joseph Equipment, rural La Crosse, Wisc. as he is into the older IH models. I likes 'em original also. Good luck w/your Farmall 460 project.

poke here for Carter & Gruenewald - where you can find [i:dedee5f2dc]Bermuda Ken[/i:dedee5f2dc] who is a poster on this board

Al, Did you see my response to your SMTA work/tail question on an earlier thread which I answered for you? If not send an email and I'll give you the info again as your original thread is many pages back by now being on page 10 last time I looked, Hal.

Thanks for the help Al,and Ken. I have the correct gauges on the way. Here's a picture of the ol girl.

Huskers86"; now if that 'purdy' tractor - as georgeky would say - is still in the field AND you have that sweet light again, walk 10' to the left and snap another photo. It will give us a front and side view - a second dimension to your image. You'll really like the difference that makes. But remember the 'sweet light'. What a great lookin' tractor you have, you can be proud. Thanks for sharing...and share again.

I took that pic from my cell phone a year ago before hilling corn the next week. I'm going to try to get the front end in the pic also and thanks for the good idea to do so. I may have to wait untill next summer to get that light again.
