Farmall A governor sloppy?

Looking for information on how much play is too much on the governor. The arm that the connector rod attaches to seems loose. There isn't much play back and forth, but rather in and out. The shaft slides in the housing and back out between 3/16 to 1/4" (maybe a little more, I didn't measure). Should it? I don't want to start rebuilding it if it doesn't need it. If it shouldn't, are there any really good instructional videos/web links on the process??

I think there is a nut on the inside that holds it together. Maybe it is loose. Pull the 5 bolts and take the housing off & see. If it is too sloppy , it can be reamed out & a bushing put in where the lever goes in.

The housing need a rebuild there that lever shouldnt have any play just forward and backward and with a new spring it will act like nw again providing the linkage going to the carb is adjusted correct.
