I have a IH asae standard hydraulic cylinder 2"bore 8"stroke 7/8-14 threads, single acting cylinder that I need to repack but need to know how to look up parts for this. There is no part or model number on it that the dealer wants to know. Thanks for any help

Take the cylinder to your dealer. That way he can determine what you have.If he doesnt want to spend the time to help,he's not much of a dealer....

Take it to a hydraulic repair shop and they can fix you up. Lots of dealers up this way don't want to bother with small parts with old tractors.

Probably has only orings and/or seals. Orings are available almost anywhere. The numbers on the seals can be crossed by a good bearing/seal business. A CaseIH dealer can get the seals if he knows the number, but you will pay more.
