hi guys.. just wondering.. other than engine size is there any outward appearance difference between a 706 and 806 gas.. axle size? anything.. thanks

Not much other then the higth of the grill and dash support and valve cover , fuel tank and sheet metal.Everything else will interchange.

806 has a cast iron grill with mesh screen behind it. 706 has a stamped mesh screen grill.

frame rails & front hood are longer on 806 than 706 w/ gasser or 282... not sure if it"s the same as w/ 310?

also i think the vertical shifter shafts that are just forward of steering wheel are shorter on 7s than 8s
