B 414 High Clearance

Hi there,

There is a B414 high clearance tractor for sale locally. I have not seen many high clearance b 414's and would appreciate it if someone can give me an idea of how rare they are. Price is $3,500 and it has decent paint and runs/operates fine.

What makes it high clearance? is this a special set of wheels ?

IH sold a lot of high clear B250s, B275s and B414 tractors. They had 11x38 rear tyres and extended front stub axles. Lot of Farmall H and M tractors sold here in the 1940s but in 1949 we ran out of dollars so no more American built tractors. The farmers in the vegitable growing areas the bought the UK built IH high clear tractors. MJ
