just a quick question. Will a crank shaft out of a 300 fit in a H block and be able to use the H rods and pistons.

Yes just use the bearings in the size needed for use with late H, SH, or 300. Late H through 350 crank diameters are bigger than most H tractors. Bearings are thinner so they fit the H block and rods and 300 crank without any other changes.
