706 glow plug wiring

The glow plug wiring is in pretty bad shape on my 706. I did find one for sale at bates but 40 bucks times 2 ouch. I was wondering if I could make my own? If so what wire gauge do I use?

Yes you can . BUT it is a real pain to do and finding the heavy duty push on ends is the big thing as what you find at the parts store ain't ah going to cut it . I believe the Ga. of wire is 12 ga. but myself i use 10 ga. and i use the Delco 56 series ends for 10-12 gauge wire and i have the crimping tool for them. So the forty buck a piece is CHEAP . The crimping tool is over a 120 bucks and then ends are a bit pricy .

boomer22, Priced a set from one of my 2 local IH Dealers.....best price....$20.oo ea!
IH is cheaper this time. Hope this helps.

Thanks for trying anyway John A.

95 bucks for 2 with shipping, just can't seem to do it right now. Mine are working but the wires are cracked real bad.
