574 needs 3-point

I was looking into buying a 574, but it doesn"t have any 3-point mechanics on it right now, just only draw bar on the back. Picture is what it is like now. He said it would cost about $1,000 to put everything on. It is a nice looking utility tractor with about 4400 hours on it, and wants $3,500 for it.

So I was wondering if the $ amount for putting the 3-point is correct, what parts I would all need, and where would be the best place to get them?

Lower link brackets are there, is the rockshaft and 3pt controls there?

I am not sure, I'll check. I have been debating if
I should get this one, a diesel 504 or a gas 544.
The latter two are a ways away, but didn't seem to
badly priced.

It's going to be easier to find a tractor with a 3pt hitch than it will be to find the parts you need for that one and install them.

Think about it. The seller has clearly looked into putting a 3pt hitch on the tractor. If it were as easy and cheap as he claims, he would've done it. Why's he selling the tractor? Because he bought another one with a 3pt on it...
