a week ago sat. I posted a question about a 186 not moving. after alot of testing by the books description I thought I had a stuck high pressure relief valve, got a new one from case ih and still no go. Talked to a few more people and no new ideas then with the cover off the left side to get at the relief I saw the problem the servo feed oil line the goes throught the tranny wall and get pressure from the MCV had come out of the tranny wall, the snap ring holding it in let go and the pressure pushed the line out and was putting all the servo oil back in the tranny and with no servo pressure to move the swash plates there is no movement. After removing the MCV installing a new snap ring and oring and gasket it moves again like before. Thanks Pete23 for the help and here is the update on what happen

Well, I never gave that a thought. Should have thought to tell you to check the servo pressure as that would have shown up. I had that happen to a 100 hydro many years ago although that one had so many things happen to it I could not name them all. It all started with a bearing failure on the bull pinion, had the old large hole bypass screen on hydraulic filter so it filled the whole hydraulic system with metal. I came into the picture after all the original repairs had been done and then other things started showing up.
