I fixed the choke on my cub this morning and to tighten up the little flipper on the choke I had to take the carb off. I turnrd the carb upside down if this matters when I put it back on the trac starts right up but when I shut the choke off it quits. It will not run with the choke off and it does not seem to speed the engine up much when I move the throttle. Any ideas what I did. I also unhooked the linage to the governor could this be on backwards some how.

When you had the carb off you must have changed the choke setting. That isnt the first time thats happened

I went out and worked on it some but it got to hot. I fixed the throttle problem. When I choke it the plate goes shut and when I shove the rod in to shut the choke off the plate opens and it runs for a second then quits like it run out of gas. The gas is turned on. Been there and done that before
