I dont know if they had one for the 130 but they did have a veggie model for the Cub,A,SA,B,BN,C and SC. It had parallel bars fastened to the main frame so you could have any distance between rows. There were two bars under the belley and also behind so you could have any type of tooling. I have two for the A. It could be done for the 130 also. What crops are you raising.

Kenny, here are two pictures of my Super AV, why don't you look at the "tractor manuals" section(upper right) of this page. See what they have for 130 attachments or cultivator books.
Best Regards,
Charlie

You can put a set of cultivators on it. They shouldn't be that hard to find .I have 4 or 5 sets but im not sure where your from im in Ontario Canada.

i am raising mixed market vegetables from arugula to zucchini. i have seen all sorts of tools and am well versed with belly tools for other small cultivating tractors things like Buddingh In-row Weeders and basket weeders. what i need is more detail on the mounts this tractor does not have the linkage and or tool bars under the belly. i dont want to spend money on the tractor if it is going to cost too much to get the belly linkage and tool bar holders and carriers. in some of these picktures i can see a little of the linkages i need but i could use more detailed picturesor information on sources so i can locate the linkage i need.

on the unit i am considering i can see a pair of square holes that looks like where a tool bar of some sort could be inserted but it is fixed position it also has a stuby lift arm on the side of the engine.

thanks

The 130 is an upgraded version of the Super A. It is identical to the Super A for mounting implements, except for the fast hitch.

You can use Super A cultivators. They will mount right up with no problems.

The problem is finding them locally, when you need them, for a reasonable price. They're not rare by any stretch, just not the first thing people advertise when they want to sell.

yes, i see a few manuals there and if i get this or another 130 i will probably get them. but for now i am not ready to drop $100 or more to look at manuals for a tractor i might not own.

also what is the difference between a "super AV" and the 130?

thanks

looking over the specs for the 130 it is said to have a 540 rpm pto but i see no tach on this or other pix of 130's how do you set the throttle when wanting the proper rpm for the 540 pto? is it just wide open and let it ride the governor?

The Super AV has 36" rear tires, vs. the 24" tires on the 130. That's rim size, BTW.

The Super AV has 19" front tires, vs. the 15" tires on the 130.

Overall the Super AV sits 8 or 10" higher for better clearance in tall crops.

There is a high-crop option for the 130, that gives it the same size wheels and extra clearance of a Super AV, but it is somewhat rare.

I have a '57 130. It is a great cultivation/light soil prep tractor. I have a 5' disk and it pulls it with ease. The belly mount sickle bar is a bit of a pain to get on and off but it's nice to have if you ever really need it. The quick hitch will spoil you but the implements that you can use with it are limited. Mine came with the high crop cultivator frame. I took off the stock tool bars and welded up a 2" tool bar that fits into the lift arms. I would like to find the regular cultivator arms but from what I have seen if you don't get the cultivator arms when you buy the tractor they are too expensive to purchase separately. Around here they go for 500-700. I have a cub that I fabricated a cultivator frame for because I didn't want to buy one. It took quite a bit of time and you have to have forge and welding skills to build it. I'll try to take a picture of the bar I made for the 130 tomorrow. The cub frame is not on the tractor at the moment. The 130 is a great tractor. It has impressive power for it's hp rating. If you really need the belly mount cultivator I would try to find a tractor that comes with them.
It is late in the day but I'm pretty sure the Super A has the 113 motor and the 130/140 has the 123. I know my 130 will out pull a Super A.

Also, run the pto at whatever speed gets the job done. Don't just run at 540 because that's what it's rated for.

X2

The world won't end if you're running at 539 or 541 RPM.

The tractor isn't capable of much more than 540 at wide open anyway, and once you put a little load on it, it will slow down.
