Now after I cleaned the carbon pieces, the springs, and the distributor cap, the spark isn't constant on any cylinder. Some times it will spark and sometimes not. I know the carbon pieces are touching the rotating gear.
Another question I had was do the little springs have to be seated all the way down in the distributor cap?
I'm wondering if it's the points now, and I don't know how to get to them or what measurement they need to be set at.
