I have everything for planting set up on my new 1953 Super A. I removed the cover plate on the left rear final drive and found a bearing between the cast iron housing and the axel shaft. The bearing touches the axel shaft and will not allow me to slip the planter drive over the shaft. Two questions. Does a bearing even go there? It looks like maybe an oil seal should be there. Maybe Mine has the wrong bearing. I downloaded a picture. HELP!!!

The ones ive had with the drive had a slotted end so the drive attachent could fit. Im not that familiar with those drives but must have came from the factory or was part of the assy when you bought a device that drove from the axle.
