Gasket between carb and strainer

Can you reuse that little gasket between the carb and the strainer? It looks like that wouldn't be 100% successful.

If you use it and it doesn"t leak, it is 100% successful. If you use it and it leaks, it is 100% unsuccessful. It is always worth putting it to the test if you don"t have a new one. Jim

I keep a tube of Molykote 111 on hand. I use it to seal the old ones as long as they are not torn.
