I have a 53 super m louisville casting codes are correct but it has belly pump no live hydraulics no tank under gas tank battery under seat did they make them this way or has it been changed

Yes,you could get A super M set up like this from the factory. Do you have your Serial # handy????

Tractors serial number L 504802 and higher could be equipped with countershaft driven hydraulics or engine driven hydraulics. Chassis and controls had several changes made at 504802 and higher to accept the engine driven hydraulics but they could still be equipped with hydraulics both ways.

D Slater has a good summary of changes and options that were available at that time. I also have a '53 Louisville SM that has many of the options, but lacks the live hydraulics.
