Is there any way to identify exactly what model a 2 point sickle mower is? Is there any casting numbers or such on the mower where it would ID the exact model? I believe I have a C-24-P but would like to Id it exactly.

"Lynn Kaufmann; On the left hand side of this web page, under the 'Galleries' heading, poke the 'Implement Photos' link and do a search using what you think is your model number. Maybe using the term[i:0b64de8856] fast-hitch [/i:0b64de8856]or[i:0b64de8856] sickle mower [/i:0b64de8856]could provide you with an answer. Or, as georgeky stated, a photo. Good luck.

if yout mower has two springs on the rear of it it is a C-24-P. IF IT ONLY HAS ONE SPRING IT IS A c-21-P there was also a newer version or two for the 240.300, and so on.

I don't have a picture right now of my mower. It is 2 hours away at my farm. I need to go up there next week and will take some pictures and post them at that time. It has 2 springs but I have found a Model 28 with 2 springs also.

I am using it on a 300 and I have to insert two 1/2" shims in my 2 point hitch so the mower prongs are tight in the hitch.

The model 28 is for the newer traction control hitch on 230, 240,300,350 utility tractors I have a 28 I am restoring now. I think the correct model number for it is UM-28 or some such. will have to look through my archives to find out for sure. the 28 is a bit different then 21 and 24 mowers.28 has an offset pully.

was also a 2CF-24 fasthitch mower.these were available with small or large prongs I can't remeber all the details since the stroke so I have to study the archives.
